'AFRO BEAT MAGNIFICENCE
OKODORO ORO "The Realistic Reality", is an astounding debut Afro beat cd from Cincinnati transplant Baoku Moses.'
The Nigerian born Baoku-also a professional African drummer-was inspired by African music icon Fela Kuti and other Afro beat artists. Fans of Kuti will be magnetically drawn to Baoku's similar vibe, as he effortlessly blends traditional African sound with western Jazz and Pop influences. The disc is stunningly accomplished, showing Baoku to be master of his craft despite only journeying into the world of Afro beat about 8 years ago. The cd was produced by Rob Fetters (Raisins, The Bears, Psychodots), who enlisted musicans like Chris Arduser, Randy Villars, Gary Winters (and himself, on gutar and bass)to help bring life to Baoku's textural, Vibrant and passionate songs. OKODORO ORO is a truly remarkable achievement that could, should, will push Baoku Moses to the upper echelon of his field. I am Mike Breen The Music Editor for City Beat Cincinnati, Ohio USA.'

'A very uplifting cd that's a great way to start off your afrobeat collection
This is a great cd that will keep you on your feet. Baoku has themes of unity and justice in the songs on this album. The beats are great too. This music is a breath of fresh air; I definitely recommend it.'

'The Legacy Lives On....
When one reads the lyrics and liner notes of this CD, the influence of the late Fela becomes apparent. A favorite on this work is Kowa de na sa, because it almost compels one to get up and dance! Engaging percussion solos and the tight fit of all the musical parts spark the imagination as to how this band would sound live & in-concert! I have recommended this CD to friends looking for a sampling of world music. Great work Baoku et al, looking forward to the next release!'

'Baoku's music is a blessing to humanity, it's priceless. The music is different from all other Afro beat, I think Baoku is on his way to becoming a musical legend. Go man God will be with you. Peace be to you.'
